This page is for application to present talk or poster in the conference.
The deadline for the abstract submission is March 31st, 2026.
The submission incurs a one-off payment for processing of the application abstract. The fee is:
1. Poster : Rp. 50,000 (2.5 USD)
2. Talk : Rp. 100,000 (5 USD)
The payment can be combined with the registration to attend, but the processing of the abstract is based on the payment.
The number of open talks and posters is limited, only selected abstracts will be proceed further. At the moment, the quotas are 6 posters and 4 talks.
Type of posters/presentation expected to contain the following topics (but not limited to), in the form of review, research article, or essay :
- Biorisk Management & Implementation Analysis, such as: investigation regarding incidence related to biorisk, biosafety, and/or biosecurity implementation (incidence in the laboratory, effectiveness of biorisk management system), change of conditions related to regulation, business/research practice, and/or trends in science conduct, as well as disruption in socioeconomic, climate, and or geopolitics that may compromise the compliance of biosafety/biosecurity implementation.
- Discovery of a new potentially pathogenic/tocix biological agent, including those who are previously considered non-pathogen/toxic or as a result of modification/engineering, analysis of outbreak and/or pandemic incidence that may/have threaten the health status of the society (epidemiology), zoonotic analysis.
- Application of emerging technology and technology-driven development (synthetic biology, AI, and alike) to assist research/analysis conduct with the implementation of DURC
The procedure of application is as follow :
a. Fill in the application form
b. Transfer the payment to ABI account and send the record to the conference e-mail address*
c. The abstract will be reviewed by the ABI administrative and scientific panel
d. Communication of the review
e. Acceptance/rejection of the submission
Important notes :
1. The abstract should not be submitted for publication elsewhere prior the conference
2. Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference book
